Start the year in prayer!
Happy New Year! It is tradition for Houses of Light to start the year in prayer. We have been given the exciting opportunity to facilitate 24 hours of prayer for streets; as part of the National Day of Prayer and Worship’s month of prayer, called ‘Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done.’ This is part of their month of prayer spanning Monday 5 th January until February 5 th January. New resource in partnership with Shine your Light
We are very pleased to announce the launch of the new online publication of ‘Shine Your Light On Your Street.’ This publication is done in partnership  with ‘Shine Your Light’ facilitated by National Day of Prayer and Worship.  The guide runs from 28 th  November until 1 st  January. Monday through Thursday are a scripture, a prayer and an action point.  Fridays are dedicated to the theme of Matthew 25:31-46 and Saturdays link Old Testament scripture with the New Testament nativity story.   ...

Illuminate your house this Christmas
Houses of Light and Shine Your Light are encouraging Christians the length and breadth of the UK, to put an illuminated cross in your windows, to show our neighbours that it is in Christ alone that we trust.
