Beacons of Light
We are aiming to see at least one Beacon of Light in as many churches as possible across the UK. This 1st beacon of Light, we believe will lead to many more in each community.

What is a Beacon of Light?
A Beacon of Light is ideally 3 Houses of Light (individuals or households) representing three streets. However, to get started, they often begin as 2 Christians from two streets and a third person can join at a later. This based on the scripture Matthew 18:20 ‘For where two or three are gather in my name, there am I with them.’ Some Beacons will be people from the same street.
Why form a Beacon of Light?
Many of our members report that praying alone, can over time become discouraging, especially if there are no immediate answers to prayer. Praying with others keeps you going.
How often do they meet?
We suggest 3 times a month, meeting virtually for half an hour over WhatsApp, teams, zoom etc but once a month meeting together ideally over food, based on Jesus doing much of his ministry while eating with others.
What should we pray for?
10 minutes praying for the three streets represented.
10 minutes praying for the postcode area, which ideally should be the same one.
10 minutes praying for all the streets across the UK.
