Supporting House of Light
Houses of Light changed its name from Neighbourhood Prayer Network on 3rd September 2025 in response to God pouring out fresh vision. We accomplish an awful lot, with a small income and this has always been part of our story. Most of us working in Houses of Light do so out of a labour of love and for very small salaries, if any at all, so that we can stretch any money given to us further. We try to do our meetings over zoom where possible, to reduce our carbon footprint, but do sometimes speak around the country, which incurs travel costs and occasionally overnight stays. Where possible we try to book the cheapest accommodation and means of transport. In essence, we are good stewards.
In our next chapter, we need more finance to see our ultimate goal of 5 new Christians on every street in the UK and the launch of Houses of Light. We provide free prayer resources, discipleship resources, with more under development as we speak.
We see ourselves as a catalyst for unity in many places around the UK as a strategic prayer strategy and evangelism strategy.
We are looking for 1000 churches to donate £10 a month as well as individuals who want to partner with us.

Upcoming funding needs:

Improve our map facility to make it more user friendly and quicker to register a sheet.. This will cost us £10,000.

Development of several new discipleship resources, prayer resources, evangelism resources and new testimony book. This will cost us around £20,000. The intention is that our resources are free at the point of use.

Develop an app for the use locally.

Employ someone specifically to update our website regularly.

Cover our existing operating costs, including an office £100, a digital platform, administration costs, website costs, design costs, travel costs to attend strategic meetings, insurance costs etc.

As of 1st January 2026, the CEO volunteers their time for free, so staffing costs can be kept at a minimum.
